Santa Cruz Island
Another great Backpacking outing. Scout and adult attendees traveled to Santa Cruz Island, visited the painted cave, backpacked from Prisoners harbor to Del Norte campsite (3.5 miles), camped 1 night, then backpacked another 11 miles across the Island to Scorpion Anchorage. It was an excellent adventure and we hope to do it again soon.
Camporee 2023 – Camp Three Falls
Another Camporee in the bag! We always enjoy our time at Camp Three Falls. Congratulations to Quinlan on being Camporee Senior Patrol Leader. He did great.
Equinox – Camp Arnaz
It was another great Equinox for 753. The landscape was green, we got some rain, we had a great campfire, the boys chopped wood, threw axes and avoided injury. What could be better?
Winter Camp 2023 – Camp Three Falls
Another excellent winter camp at Camp 3 Falls. Awesome hike, rifle shooting, shotgun shooting, karaoke, skits. Look at the lake! For the first time since the Miocene epoch, it had water!
Beach Wars
Another great beach wars outing, with the watermelon eating contest and tug o’ war game. Congrats to Tommy for winning the watermelon eating competition and receiving the melon crown.
Rock Climbing at Stony Point
The Scouts enjoyed a bright, sunny day of rock climbing at Stony Point located off the 118 Freeway in Chatsworth, CA.
Turkey Day Dash
Some Scouts helped out at this year’s Turkey Trot, which was the first one in 3 years!
